And The Winner Is….
Alright, I was shy and red for the past few days. But, yesterday night, my wife convinced me that it is nice to share good things with the World. So, here’s something which I had mentioned only to six people – J, R, V, V, S and K – and one of them doesn’t even know Kannada!!!
Amma called me up a few days back from India to say that there was a letter from Kannada Sahitya Parishath. My book has been selected for a Sahitya Parishath prize and I have been awarded for being a “ಉದಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ಕವಿ”.
I believe the award ceremony will be held soon. Amma will go and collect it on my behalf. Oh well, I am happy. You be too 🙂

Thanks!!! Yes, this book was released last year with two other books – one written by mother and the other one by my father (unfortunately, that is his last book). Oh well, when you have a home full of people who write all the time, what else can you do? 😉
